Leadership Programs

The Chamber offers three Leadership Programs, offering benefits for differing personal / professional / business objectives.

The Leadership Reno Sparks Program began in 1985 and has the objective of connecting and developing future leaders and includes over 1,000 alumni. This comprehensive program is designed to increase knowledge and awareness of issues and challenges facing our community, and provides methods for professionals to prepare themselves to be stronger leaders. The schedule covers 12 months, and  is geared for professional development. The program includes numerous off-site meetings with top leaders and decision-makers, including those in government, business, the arts and law enforcement…providing the rare opportunity to hear directly from these leaders, regarding their own objectives, challenges and just what it takes to be successful within their areas of expertise.

The Chamber's OnP.A.C.E  Leadership Program (Professional Achievement Civic Enrichment) is focused towards personal skill development & civic responsibility. OnPACE Leadership is a 9-month program, designed for busy professionals and offers intensive training and interactive exercises to build critical business skills and develop effective management abilities. It is a fast-paced course that focuses on enhancing existing business skills and maximizing these skills to a greater potential. The OnPACE program is run by Jeffrey Benjamin from Breakthrough Training.

The Chamber's Youth Leadership is provided for high school juniors with a focus on interpersonal communication and introductory courses to leadership. This outstanding program focuses on youth in our community in an effort to develop better workers and better leaders for tomorrow. The Youth Leadership program is vital to our community and fosters leadership skillsets for young people who are considering college, higher education or joining the workforce.
